A brand that was born out of passion, hard work, and dedication. Our brand is all about inspiring and empowering barbers all over the world to be the best versions of themselves.
It all started with our founder, Steven Gray, who began his barber career in 2006 with the dream of one day owning his own barber shop. In 2016, that dream became a reality with the birth of Cali Coast Barbershop in San Diego, CA. Steven's passion for the industry continued to grow, and he wanted to create something that would inspire and uplift barbers everywhere.
In 2021, shortly after the global pandemic, Steven embarked on a passion project that would eventually lead to the creation of Dope Barber Brand. He wanted to remind barbers that they are dope, and that they should always strive to raise the bar to the next level. With the encouragement and support from family and friends the movement was born!
